Ahhh the joys of drive throughs in a 1 piece race seat.

Thats an awesome bike dude. I always loved the Homegrown duals. I'm sure if you wanted to just get a new frame most of your components would carry over. Thats what I did. The only thing I needed was a front derailer with a larger clamp and then the parts I was replacing due to wear.

Thanks man, it's a great bike but the Hayes disk brakes were designed just for this bike so I wouldn't be able to change those over to the new frame. The thing that pisses me off is that Schwinn was a top competitor back in the day. Now they went commercial selling just junk to Walmart and Sports Authority, they pretty much ended their high end market. It's so hard to get parts for the bike now, and it's really a shame.

Really? Can you take a picture of it? I'm curious. Yeah I was really disappointed when Schwinn went out. They were the best US bike company for years.

Yeah for sure. Hayes made custom mounts and hubs to fit the the caliper and rotor for the rear. The front is a Hayes hub but standard mount.
