I agree then, concentrate on the schooling. You can worry about a car after all that is done.Erik95LS wrote:I'm also in school and trying to move too so now is not the time for me to buy another car of any value.Erik95LS wrote:

Yep, I might be buying a super cheap accord or civic though for a daily. I'm kind of thinking about going out to Utah for just a couple months, but its about the toughest decision I've ever had to make. And I haven't made it yet.Dave_B wrote:I agree then, concentrate on the schooling. It's always nice to have another car for the street. Well, really think about the utah thing. Is it really worth it.Erik95LS wrote: Yep, I might be buying a super cheap accord or civic though for a daily. Mixed feelings about the 2,900 mile 98 ITR for sale. Maybe I'm jealous.
He bought it 2 months ago for $20k, including $8k in new Spoon parts. Sold alot of the parts on ebay and where ever. Now he's flipping just the caR for $28k.
But on the other hand, I hope it goes for a crazy high "collector's" price so the next owner will take excellent care of her. Assuming of course, the more someone pays for a car, the more likely they'll take care of it.
Just a mild rant, I really hope it all works out, for the R.

I don't know what it is, but I could never really look at an ITR as a collector car. Maybe its just me.....

Not necessarily a good thing...I'm emo cuz I'm dying to get out on a stretch of open road and SEE WHAT MY NEW BIATCH DOES! I can just imagine hitting a deer at 150-160 mph. Guess I'll pay for laps @ Texas Motor Speed.Doespike wrote:BIG BUCKS!!! I'm ----> <----- close to saying something in that thread. I knew something that was going to happen with that d00d. Makes me really sad to see that the car went to him like it did.Doespike wrote:Mixed feelings about the 2,900 mile 98 ITR for sale. Maybe I'm jealous.

I was doing the same. I could easily go off, but being a mod and all now, I have to support the site and it's name. But via PM, I can tell him all I'd like.Doespike wrote:Yeah, I added my $.02 And oh boy did I censor myself....Dave_B wrote:Done, I just can't stand it and I had a feeling when he bought it something like this would happen. ITR's should be driven, FAST!
Should a sexy, totally hot woman like Dawn (just saw your pics on myspace DDOW!) be kept a virgin just because she's a sexy, totally hot woman? FTW!
And do I get points for comparing Dawn to an ITR? Finest handling car I've ever owned = Finest gurl in all of Alberta, would probably kick Danica Patricks' ass on the track or in a bar, turbo polisher extrordinaire, igloo builder, destroyer of worlds.

Seriously, if I had the money I'd buy it and donate it to a museum, with decent security of courseErik95LS wrote:Yeah thats really stupid what that guy is doing. its people like that that ruin cars for us.
I guess all we can do is hold our breath and that the next owner realizes heR value, and not in $$$
