K20A type R swap to integra type r body

K20A type R swap to integra type r body

I was just wondering if anybody here did a swap from a b18c5 to a k20a type r on integra type body. Is it possible? is it a direct fit or its gonna be struggle to put on?...and so on... Please give me some input about my future plan on my type r. thank you!

Yes, it is fairly easy to do.

I have a DC5 ITR motor in my DC2 ITR. It's a good thing to consider, especially if you've already been through a couple of B18C5 builds and you're looking at having to spend quite a bit on another motor anyway. :)

HASport makes the mounts. HASport, DTR and others make the right header.

Hondata makes the K Pro computer.

There are many of us at Honda-Tech now and there won't be any lack of advice regarding the project.

thanx for the input man. I was wondering how much did it cost you at end of the swap if you dont mind me asking.

i did the swap as well... got bashed on when i first mentioned the idea of doing a kswap to an actual ITR...

I did the DC5 type s swap (tight budget at the time)... But Im so happy with my swap.. so much torque,,, and im starting to believe that its better on gas...

my swap costed me about near 3.5 - 4k in parts and about 3 for the swap

Im not tryin to throw your intrest off this forum.. but k20a.org has ALL the info regarding the site.. and all the parts you need

as far as ITR specifics... itrca is the place to be!!! :D
