I've never really been to the back woods area's of GA, but ATL, Kings bay and a few others aren't bad. Anyone see the movie Wrong Turn? Wasn't that in WVA?Dawn, Destroyer of Worlds wrote:You didn't miss much.Erik95LS wrote:I dont' even feel like reading what i missed, but Georgia is where the real rednecks and inbreds are

I'll be back there in Nov. so I'll take some pics of the groves and the plant for ya.Erik95LS wrote:I'm suprised you haven't asked dave to take pictures of orangesDawn, Destroyer of Worlds wrote:You didn't miss much.Erik95LS wrote:I dont' even feel like reading what i missed, but Georgia is where the real rednecks and inbreds are

Never saw it. All you have to remember is that Deliverence was filmed on location in GA and is more or less a documentary than a movie.Dave_B wrote:I've never really been to the back woods area's of GA, but ATL, Kings bay and a few others aren't bad. There are some truly terrfying areas around here. Not necesarily the people, but just the area itself.Dave_B wrote:The wrong turn one was in WVA and didn't really have rednecks like it had backwoods, inbred folks.Erik95LS wrote:Never saw it. I can get tickets for free, up to 3 people at a time if anyone wants to come down. We'll get park hopper pass's. Do the fun stuff early, then go to Epcot and "drink around the world"

A few years ago me and a buddy were driving around bored one night and hopped onto this backroad we'd never been on before. Really curvy up on top of a huge hill looking down over these deep valleys.....We're driving along and all of a sudden the road narrows to one lane. There are all these houses with tons of random junk in the fron yards with rusted fences. There were even houses with the sides completely rusted. There were all these leafless trees curving over the top of the road and blocking out the moonlight. Then we see something kind wierd hanging from one of the trees over the road............Its a noose! Tied to one of the trees and just hanging there. Lots more creepiness and then we round a corner and the road just stops and theres a giant boiler with a bunch of rusty holes in it just sitting there in someone yard. This thing was easily 15+ feet tall and kind of laying on its side. WTF is something like that doing here?Erik95LS wrote:There are some truly terrfying areas around here. We quickly turned around and started heading back. After a few turns we see this single light coming up behind us. My buddy who was driving starts freaking out and floors it. The light just keeps gaining on us and these are like Tail of the Dragon type roads, but sharper turns. Turns out its these 2 guys on a 4-wheeler, one of which has a rifle in hand. They follow us like that for about 3 miles and then turn off. There are loads of places like that around here. Alot of my friends have been shot at too.

I might be able to talk to a few of my aunt's co workers into getting more of us in for free. Each employee can get 3 people in per day.

I don't doubt it though, my good buddy has family up there in WVA.Erik95LS wrote: A few years ago me and a buddy were driving around bored one night and hopped onto this backroad we'd never been on before.
