JRSC worries?

Post by malv1 »

Hello all. I believe I am going to purchase the Type R I spoke of in another thread, but anyway.

It has 91k on it with a JRSC base kit, still at 5.5 psi. Everything else is stock, for now. I would like to know if there is anything I should worry about the way it sits?

I do not believe the car has been tuned in any way, it has all the JRSC equipment on there, but I don't believe any tuning at all.

I plan on taking off the short ram that came with the kit, and putting on a ice-box intake and maybe doing the s200 hondata and having it tuned and then eventually doing the boost upgrade.

Any suggestions or advice would be awesome.

Thanks guys,

Nick

I heard that there is two types of superchargers for ITR. One low boost and another high boost and it comes with 300s hondata, am I right?

I am not 100% sure but I heard that it probably won't be very safe for bone stock b18c5 and 11psi is the almost the limit for JRSC charger if thats what you are refering to.

Why not let the tuner see what the motor dictates and go by that?

I did a compression test a couple of weeks ago. #'s across the board are very stout.
