I am working on getting a couple misc parts sold, I am hoping to have enough by the cut off.

Both, it is a school for those inexperienced and there is "solo" for drivers who have had track experience. It basically will be broken down into different run groups depending on experience. Novice will have instructors, and I'm not sure if intermediate will or not. Then you have advanced which has no instruction and you have the instructors run group. It's similar to an HPDE format. You can go to http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/1806312 it's a thread over on HT with more questions and answers in it. It's quite a few pages long now, but there's some good info in there.dc5-s wrote:So, is this event a school, or is there track driving solo permitted? Is there a link with more information about the specifics of the event?

I hope your Father is good, I would not mind having some fun running down a Vette on track.dc5-s wrote:Hey,
I have an 03 RSX-S which I track often. I'm interested in making the trek from Canada to this event with my dad who has a C6.
Can I participate in this event? I suppose my dad's corvette wouldn't be welcome though....hah.
Bring your entire family and have fun. It's for all to enjoy!

Questions...
Hello there,
I've registered to be an instructor, but did not want to pay before I was approved. Will I be notified via email, or do I need to check the roster? Actually, can I even be approved before paying?
Also, which address do I send the paypal payment to (is it different for instructors)?
Thanks
Ahmet

I think you are counting your chickens way before they hatch. We still have time and some people are more than willing to help out.....Bbasso wrote:At this point, I don't think it matters any more.
What I mean is that there is a lot of money, committed people and hard work going down the drain in two days..
It looks like we need 25+ people to pay IN TWO DAYS or this event is OFF.
How sad that all this work and effort is being abandoned by the ITR owners, and it's for them!
To the ITR Expo committee, thanks for everything you have done. I appreciated the attempt this year. Especially getting a date at VIR.
I am very upset with the ITR community for letting this slide away, But I also understand that it's not the same character of people as it was from the past.
If I was heading up the committee and had to deal with this, there would not be another ITR Expo. Simple as that. You guys have patience I can't seem to understand. Many thanks and Have a good new year
I might be counting my chickens a little early on this, but How could you blame me?

Actually, all run groups (aside from instructor group) will have an instructor. Under certain circumstances, some Adv & Int drivers *may* be signed off by their instructor to drive alone.Dave_B wrote:Both, it is a school for those inexperienced and there is "solo" for drivers who have had track experience.
