i just found out my R is missing the federal sticker in the left rear quarter panel that you see when you open your door, the one that says mfg in japan by honda motor etc....
i need to know the 3 diffrent weights that are written over there, gvwr: gawr f: R: the three of them are in lbs, i found some for a 1997 ls : gvwr 3680lbs gawr f 1985lbs r 1740lbs, but im pretty sure its different for a type r, i need to know this a sap as my car cant pass the border because of this, i also need to know the mgg date, called acura they gave it to me, but coulnt tell me the weights, i need this info from a 1998 and up 1997 is lighter. Okay, apparently the car is an RS, not an LS.
It's not mine, so I don't feel too bad about not knowing. lol
The weights I got are
gvwr: 1670kg
gawrf: 900kg
r: 790kg
The car is CDM, but I don't think that effects the weight at all. To get the weight in lbs, just multiply each number by 2.2.
Or you can try an online converter.
Hope this helps!
Cheers!

Go team Joe!
I actually have a bunch of pics of that one if anyone is interested. I don't think it's been auctioned off yet, but not sure. I have the pics in a folder called "Just Sad"

Funny, I get the 98R each time I search. Just make sure you're searching for Acura Integras, 1998, around zip 21226.turbor wrote:cant find it, it finds many integras but only opens page 1 and i cant click on the god damm cars either, i had a password before that i could look at the cars but not bet on them but i cant find anymore.... are you a member or is there a trick?
Yeah, to find out about the auction you have to sign up or know someone who has a membership; I don't, and yes, there is a trick for the pics at least.
right click on the thumbnail pic, copy/paste the address into the address bar. For the 98R it's
https://www.iaai-bid.com/getimage.aspx? ... d=24862500
Now, change the "imagetype=1" to "imagetype=0" that gives you the full size pic.
Now just keep changing the last number up and/or down to see all the pics they have of that car; so 24862499, 24862498, ...97, etc
<--would love to do an ITR rebuild project someday
EDIT: The 98R is stock# 2576945 if that can help anyone locate heR.

Damn those are sad. I'm guessing lift-throttle oversteer + tree = dead ITR on the first one; and the Club is useless to prevent theft on the second.
I think a dedicated wrecked/stripped ITR thread is a good idea. I PMed a moderator to see if and how a thread can be created. I'll let you know the answer.
