I'm a good cook, so I'll just cook him some food and mail it. That's reasonable.

Actually I find out tomorrow for sure, I'm thinking I'll be able to go home by the end of the month. I'm hoping so anyway. Man, I've got so much to do up north before I'll be able to make it to Expo......

You better make it to Expo, or you'll NEVER hear to end of it Heck, just borrow Miss Chief :lolz:
Tough call, man.
Oh my Gawd. I know that if I don't make it, I'll be booed out of here so fast..... :lolz:
Trust me, I'm gonna try my absolute best. As far as I'm concerned, I'll be going even if I have to fly down and not drive.
I'll know for sure in a few more weeks.
Man, Miss Cheif would be so fun to tear around! lol
Not as much as the Silvia though.
Or my very own Teg.
Or as much as the 240Z I'm trying to talk Will into letting me buy....

The engine is toast.Doespike wrote:So what is the status on the Silvia?
So we got that new CA18DET for it, which is in my dining room as we speak, completely disassembled. Will's got TONS of stuff already bought for it, and is getting some advice from some other friends of ours as to where to go with the build.
No one builds CA's, and since Will likes a challenge, he decided it would be more fun and original than throwing in an SR20 or an RB. It's gone from being the car I was going to use for track, to being his big-super-pain-in-the-ass project.
'Cause you know, we needed another one of those.

It's a 1.8 litre 16 valve, DOHC, single turbo (garrett T25) engine.Doespike wrote:LOL, PITA projects are the story of my life!
Sorry, I don't know Nissan engine codes, in Honda lingo, what would a CA be similar too? hehehe
It was a really limited release, only a year or two. Wikipedia would know for sure.
Most people think they're outdated and too hard to find parts for, and too expensive to build....... that spells a great original build to me!
