Here are some pics from Miller Motorsports Park yesterday. We were there at lunch time so nobody was on track, but walked and had a good look around. I think I'm going to try to make it to the ALMS race in May there if anyone wants to come out
First several are from Larry H. Miller's personal museum on site. All the GT40s and the Cobra Daytona are original and have several wins at LeMans as well as Sebring, Daytona, and a few other key races.
The outdoor pics are from walking around all the private garages. I really wonder what rental costs on these are. People make them as nice or nicer than a home garage. Couches, kitchens, WiFi, HDTV, etc. Some have lifts in them. There was one garage that had 3 identical fully prepped Grand-Am EVOs and a DB9. Would be so nice to have this kind of money.
Enjoi!

Went wandering around Historic Temple Square in downtown SLC the other day. Snapped some pics while I was there also. I'd never been there before and it is a really cool place to look around. There were a couple weddings going on also.
and no they still haven't converted me......

You probably still don't see alot of Exige S's though. More so than we do, but its still a semi rareish car.tartje wrote:they're certainly some lovely pictures, wish i had that sort of quality camera, but i don't use one enough to justify the money
dunno why you're getting excited over a poxy Lotus, i see them every day going to and from work

i drive past a Lotus dealership in the village next to me, there are 3 of them, 1 in the showroom and 2 out the front
Here are mine from Sebring.
I'll have more eventually...
Erik, this one is for you.
And here's a few from camp.
Mah RV for the event.
Here's the front of camp at night. I go with about 28 guys every year and we all pitch in storage space during the year and all help setup camp for the event. Takes the better part of a day to setup everything.
Yep, we got projection screen for live Speed covereage.
What's a good camp without a good bar?
Really cool pic I came up with, it was windy as hell outside as you can tell.
Another angle of camp. We got couches, grills, bar, long table, everything needed for a few days of racing action.
The bar table itself is from an old projection TV set with christmas like lights behind it.

Bastid!!! I'd almost kill to go to that race!!! Or even Spa!!!tartje wrote:wow, that looks stunning, i'd love to go to something like that
don't know if its still happening, but SHOULD be going to the Le Mans 24hr either this year or next year
As for the sights, sounds and drunked stumbles...
Yeah, it was a great time. We go every year and every year I call Rob just so he can hear all the BS in the background!!!
