I did a search and didnt find much on this topic. For all you guys still running stock wheels what size tires are you using. I need a new set of shoes, I am debating between the factory 195/55R15, or a 205/50R15.
What size and what brand are you guys running?
Lets talk Tires

I've been thru a few tires....
IMO
RE010 was the best for the stock rims And at $78.00 it's hard to go wrong.
I hear the Yokohama AVS ES100 are pretty good for the money
I hear mixed reviews on Falken Ziex ZE-512
My very good freind had Avon Tech M500 on his VW and thought they were great, I'll be trying those on my WRX when the stock tires fall off this summer.
I currently have a 6.5 inch wide wheel and use the Kumho ECSTA MX 205/50-15 and have been for three years (2nd set of 'em). I feel this tire is good for everything including track Just don't try them in snow (you will crash).
But what do you need the tires for?

Not sure if they still have them, but I bought a set of RE010's from tire rack a few months back. But at the time they were getting rid of the last batch. Still worth a try.

I have always wanted to see what the RE10's could produce, but I am really happy with my ES100/Neova AD05/06 combination. If I did have one complaint though it would be that the Advans produce a lot of road noise. I guess that is the price to pay for being responsive.
Timeless. Keeping it real, so you don't have to.
