So I went to the range the other day...

Anything goes? Well, if you keep it clean and aren't obnoxious.

pistol grip is the best for home defense. Little messy, but even sleepy eyed, just point and shoot. Ya can't miss with bird shots. :)

The permit process here is actually pretty simple provided you don't have a felony or bad history. It's a 4-8 hour class (depending on where you go) and then being signed off by a county sherrif. At that point, a background check, finger print and mailing to the Govt. for the permit. It should be at your door in like 6-8 weeks.

Hell yeah it would, but you'd have to hit your target first.

Being the outdoors man you are, I dun think you'd have a prob with that. :P

I love my HK though, I had a Glock 30 (also a compact .45) for a week, friend was with me at the range and rented said HK USP-C .45 and after 2 rounds I was sold. Walked out, tucked my tail and took my $200 loss a week after I bought the Glock.

Yep, I like having the shotgun.....cause it'll have a huge "Oh sh!t!!!" effect on a burglar.....hopefully I'll never have to use it though.

Yeah, I still want a pistol, just for repeated shots and more than 5 shot magazine. I'd love to get a D. Eagle....gun store near me is a dealer for them.....oooooooo nice 8)

I've been pondering getting a shotgun for the house just for that. Though, I'd still like to have my other piece with night sights ready.

Have you ever held a Desert Eagle? It's HUGE. Like Jim/Ewak huge!!! I'd still love to have a nickle plated .50 cal one, but probably wouldn't use it much. What kind of prices have you seen for them there? Oh, there's also a Baby Eagle.

You can never have enough guns  We have over 20 long guns and counting

Never held one.....fuggin NY liberals pushed through a law that prohibits anyone from even HOLDING a handgun without a pistol permit. Yet crime continues to rise

The DEs are around $1000-1200 depending on finish.

Yeah it's getting ridiculous up here. .50 cal rifles were almost banned because "terrorists" would shoot down planes with them  The anti-gun retards were promoting this ban using pics of the Browning .50 2-mile-range-blow-a-hole-through-an-engine-block-bad-mothafawker military gun. Well, only about 4-5 are even in NY yet this legislative bill would have included 20ga and larger shotguns and .50 cal muzzleloaders (this would effectively ban all OUR personal guns  ). Idiots.

<--socially pretty liberal but realistic, c'mon people.

Hrmm, seemed short. I'm used to unloading a 15 round mag. Are those illegal for the public?
