Being a .45 there aren't many you can get that fire more than 8 or 10 rounds. I have the compact model (read, carry) so it's only 8 shots. I can get a full size that is 10, but if you can't do it in 8, you shouldn't have it at all.
As for being illegal, as mentioned that ban is now gone but EXPECT it to come back. Just buy up what you can now, then sell for profit later.
