What is up people.
I got into with people from honda-tech before because they think since i have a 97 ITR that its gone to waste since i "street race" it or "drag" race it. they claim the ITR should strictly be used for race tracks.
What do you think?

True. Street racing is stupid and kills people.Dave_B wrote:I think street racing is stupid and kills people.
Other than that, if it's sanctioned racing be it drag, RR, AutoX or rally, go for it. It's your car.
But to say the type R is stictly used only for rally would be false.
Or else people wouldnt care to DYNO their type R and take it to the strip to get quarter mile times. Its all in the build and how you want your type R to perform.
Thats all i was trying to get at.

True, I totally believe each should build his own, in his own way. Totally agree there. You should get in contact with Fransico. I forget his username. He ONLY drag races his ITR. To top it off, it's a USDM car with a JDM front end and it's RHD. Talk about his own. HOWEVER, he pretty much wins his class all the time.
Dave B said it for me. First person that came to mind when I read this was Francisco. He stays competitive with his B-series ITR and its all he does. His name should be RPRacing on here if he's on here. Its that on every other forum. I've known him since he first started building the caR years ago from a shell.
