***Expo 8 - VIR Full June 9th/10th (Mon/Tue) Tentative***
We have started working with VIR again for plans on Expo 8. At this point, we are 99.9% sure that we will have these dates for Expo 8 per VIR officials.
- June 9th/10th (Mon/Tue) 2008
At this point, we expect that Expo 8 would mirror Expo 7 closely. We are considering a different venue for the banquet due to the seating arrangement, but the layout, etc. will be the same as far as the agenda for the two days.
We anticipate raising the money ahead of time as we have done in previous years with the deadline being at the end of December.
The event will be structured as past Expos have been. VIR is a premier track, and it will take a lot of effort to make this happen, and we will need help spreading the word. VIR specifics can be found at http://www.virclub.com/vir/

Yep, just purchased a 97 27' class A motorhome. Figure with all this towing, I was going to need a truck... not anymore.
SWEEEEET - now your thinking. You'll be able to plug in right in front of the garages if you like. That's what pops did.
Just checked it out this weekend. Think we made a wise choice. It was either a truck or a motor home. For 10k, the motorhome was clearly the better choice!!!BudMan wrote:Dave_B wrote:With motorhome for base camp FTMFW!!!!Doespike wrote:

Yes... this year EARLY planning!!! no more last minute rushes!Jon D wrote:I need one of those trees that Dave B has growing in his front yard.
I am sending an email out to the committee today about starting additional planning.
As for the tree... Well it was truck or a motorhome. I would have spent the same money, or more for a decent truck. This thing already has a ford 460 in it, so it will tow anything I'd like it to. Plus, I do the 12 hours of Sebring every year for 5 days and I'd like to get to Petite Le Man in ATL next year. Few DE's here and there and with the funds i would have spent on hotel or rental of motorhome, it will eventually pay off.
Never used except towing truck for 10K+
New found glory with outdoors in motorhome for 10K
What would you choose?
