You wouldn't believe the caliber of idiot's that come to a car lot in the rain.
To many other things to worry about right now. I'm looking to have my Comp license by Oct. of next year and run HC in 09. That right there will be enough for a car...
Just curious, but what all do you have to do to get a Comp license?Dave_B wrote:I do NEED a few more... but right now... not happening.get RIGHT wrote:^^^ You do NEED a few more.

I was trying to find money to do one of the driving schools where they let you drive the Ford GT. Its about 2 grand for a 2 day school. well worth it.

Straight line speed is boring, but it would be fun to hit 170ish on that straight. I'm willing to bet it could.Bbasso wrote:Baahhh 120 in an R...
135 on both straights in my WRX, but stopping it for the turns was hairy!
As for the Ford GT, I'd like to rail a few turns in it, straight line speed is boring.
That would be amazing to drive on any track though.

As for the Ford GT... there are several "race schools" that offer exotic cars like that. For me though, it was either spend close to 2k in a single 2 day "school" or "school" myself with around 8-10 track days for the same price.

I think it would be fun to rent one, but for the cost/benifit I'd rather just track the hell out of what I have.98 CW ITR 322 wrote:FTW, I'm dying to get teh scratch to rent a formula mazda at the motorsports ranch.Dave_B wrote:I'll take my 135 AND braking thanks.Bbasso wrote:Baahhh 120 in an R...

BUT... if I'm going to rent... go all the way and head out to Vegas where you can rent 2 year old F1 cars.
