b18c = jdm gsr
b18c = jdm itr
b18c1 (gsr) and b18c5 (itr) are what they are called in the us.
you can't tell which is which with jdm itr and gsr without doing more homework. jdm gsr does NOT use the usdm gsr dual runner intake manifold i dont think, so that doesn't help clear things up either...

i think you will find the JDM SIR as its known is labled b18c4 where as the JDM ITR are labled up b18cChris N wrote:b18c = jdm gsr

B18C4 is the engine code that came on the motors in the MB6 and MC2 Civic's in this country, the SiR's were B18C's too, the ITR motor was called the B18C Spec-R, but obviously that couldn't be written on the motor, so B18C it was....
