Ok... explaination...

Back just before Halloween my car got "toyed" with.

Was a long day, up at 5 am, drove 2 hours to Jacksonville to deal with an ass load of BS!!! Had a pissy day, buddy called on my way back and asked if I wanted to go to the range. I said sure, why the eff not? So I run home, grab the ol' .45 and headed to the range. Was in a rush there cause I had to go with the GF to pick up pumkins for the kids to carve. So needless to say I was rushed a bit, met her at her place and left everything in my car. Got our pumpkins and came home (in her car at this point, I parked mine at her gated condo complex to move later) By the time I had dinner after getting pumpkins (no lunch or breakfast that day, it was just one of those days) and got a shower I had long not payed attention to moving my car into the garage we had at the condo. In the car was my work laptop, a second laptop and my .45

Sure enough, the next morning she was leaving for work and calls me at 6:45 am to ask if I had moved the car. Before she could get that our of her mouth I had one leg in my pants and was flying down the stairs. The car was not in the parking spot I had left it so I immediately called the cops. Cops show up, and as I was talking to them, another condo owner rolls by and asks if I was the one who owned that "black car" I say yes, and he advises it's around the corner with the door open.

I approach the car from the rear and the passenger door is cracked open about 4 inches. Things looks to be ok at this point, until I start to round the car. The entire JDM front end was stripped in the condo parking lot... fucks couldn't steal the car so they pushed it around the corner where there was less traffic in the complex. They got my radar detector, 2 laptops, CD book and my .45 pistol.

So that's why I was so fawking excited when the Sherrifs office called me yesterday to ask questions about the stuff I owned. Something about a chop shop and crap. It went so fast I didn't get all the details from the cops, other than they got most of my stuff (not the 2 laptops yet, but I left the data card on for a reason, they found that too)

So... I guess what comes around, goes around. Justice has been served!!!

(I know... WTF was I thinking leaving my gun in my car, and my car outside? Well, again it was one of those days. )

BUT.... a little bird told me that in 09 we might be getting a sedan version......... I just may wait for that, and buy a previous gen to hold me over.
