'98 Spec JDM ITR transmissions have a stock 4.78 final drive with a longer 4th and 5th gear. Everyone prefers the '98 spec JDM ITR tranny compared to the '96 spec JDM/USDM

Spoon Sports actually sold brand new OEM '98 Spec ITR transmissions which they assembled using closer/better tolerances than Honda according to them (very similar to the ITR Crate engines they offer). They were available from all Opak dealers for many years.Bbasso wrote:You said Spoon Sports, how does that name apply to your trans?
