FS in North Carolina: Showroom 1997 Integra Type R 55k miles
SOLD
Hi all,
Before anyone inquires, it does pain me to think about selling what took me forever to find. However, it's unfortunately necessary because of multiple recent events. Our first child is due in just over a week and although we planned for it, there have been a lot of changes within our workplace(s) that are forcing us to give up some "unnecessary" toys.
Here are the stats and I plan to post pictures later.
-1997 Integra Type R #97
-Third owner
-Always garaged at private residence
-55,245 miles
-99% original, with the lone exception being the tires (appx 60% treadwear remaining)
Further description is honestly not needed. If you can picture what an unmolested, showroom condition '97 looks like, this honestly is it. I don't believe you could find any cleaner 1997 R with similar mileage anywhere. It truly is immaculate and for this reason, prospective buyers will undoubtedly be limited.
I will sorely miss this car and this sale is something I do not want to go through with. Unfortunately as stated above, it is just necessary at this time in my life. My price is $17,000 firm. No trade offers please as I'm looking for a cash sale.
I will post pictures later this weekend and will be happy to furnish the VIN to Rob once asked.
Thanks all,
Jason

Wow - you won't have any R's left now?
Congrats on the little one coming. It's always hard getting started with kids. Now that my son is 12, he won't let me sell the R (race car)...he knows he gets to drive at 14 & it'll be track time for him.
Good luck on the sale. Wish I could afford another street car - I'd buy it from you.

Jason, I can't belive your gonna let this one go after the searching you did
But I understand, having a child does take some priority over a car
Best of luck on the sale of the caR, and if I hear you dropped that price, even one cent I'll visit you and kick you in the nads I know where you live But to be honest, I would have asked way more. $19,500.oo
As for the legitimacy of Jason and this caR, absolutely good to go! I would trust what he says sight unseen.
Best of luck and if you need me just call.

Thanks for both the kind words and the word of mouth, guys. It means a lot. I have no doubt that I will sorely miss this car when it's gone. As Rob said, unfortunately other priorities do take precedence right now
Thanks again, guys.

Didn't you just buy this #97 from another member on this forum a few months ago?

I'm not sure what that has to do with my thread, but the answer is yes.gprotein wrote:Didn't you just buy this #97 from another member on this forum a few months ago?

I am sure some background history of this #97 will be appreciated by potential buyer, and there are pics in his thread:back in black wrote:I'm not sure what that has to do with my thread, but the answer is yes.gprotein wrote:Didn't you just buy this #97 from another member on this forum a few months ago?

Interestingly, it took 2nd owner almost a year to sell heR to you at around $17K. Hopefully, it will be quicker for you.

I'm located in the Piedmont Triad, very close to where you are. My wife actually works in Winston Salem.sneekyseven wrote:I joined just so I could ask--where in NC is the car located? Someone recently turned me on to ITR's. I'm in winston salem

WOW... jason never thought I'd see this car for sale.
i have contemplated many times giving up both of my R's just for one prestine, showroom 97. I'd never drive it, it'd be garaged always and stay the way I bought it.
Good luck with the sale and with the new addition!!!
Potential buyers, have no fear with seller. Very stand up guy!!!

Me too, but unfortunately I can't justify keeping it right now. It is soooo worth it if you're in the position to purchase an R.crxgator wrote:man i want this car...
Re: FS in North Carolina: Showroom 1997 Integra Type R 55k miles
Was there a difference between ITRs sold in California and other states? I seem to remember that cars sold in CA usually had less horsepower due to CA emissions requirements. I don't have a 1997 ITR brochure so I can't determine if there were differences.
I'm interested in your car, but I'm in California.

Hi. I'm not aware of any horsepower differences, but I can tell you that this car has never been registered in California. Actually, it's never been out of this state. If you need specific pictures of anything and are seriously interested, please let me know.Outrun wrote:Was there a difference between ITRs sold in California and other states? Re: FS in North Carolina: Showroom 1997 Integra Type R 55k miles
Folks,
Here are a few pictures I was able to shoot today. Sorry for the low quality interior pictures. I get home when there's not much light out, so they're fairly poor. I'll do my best to get some better ones this weekend. Also, please note that the car is not clean at present due to local water restrictions. (That includes the interior needing a vacuum.) I may "cheat" and wash her this weekend, as these pics do not do her justice.
Thanks,
Jason

Hey, thanks guys! Great news to report! Our son, Noah Alexander, was born Thursday morning at 6:38am. He weighed in at 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 21 inches in length. He's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.walker111 wrote:I really need to stay up to date on the forums! I didnt even know you got another.....
