3 day weekend for me... I guess I will spend it working on the 242ti.
Vulva :D

I found some Bahlsen/Leibniz Pick-UP!

I'll show you the picture when I get home tonight, I want to make sure they're the one you mean
F-ing awesome, Geoff!! That kicks much ass. The ones I had in Austria were "mit milch" or something - chocolate and milk. Sounds iffy, but they're really damn good. Sort of like a cookie-ish breakfast bar.

Let me know how we can work out a transfer of funds for snackies :)

drop me an email - pat.buckley@gmail.com

W - joo got snow? There was some slush on the cars when I got up yesterday, but no impact to traffic or anything. Except for the thousands of gallons of brine the county wasted. They're calling for another round tomorrow :o

jup.. ~2-3" fell night before last.
~85% of it has melted and a massive fog has rolled in. :x

Vluva work = :o
I will try and get the car into the garage to help with the temps/weather... and start pulling off the bent chit. :|

3-day weekend will help...

Jup... the girls were out of school and everything.
I got a little  sideways at the top of the subdivision... but other than that, it was a easy drive into work. I fear that if the temps had been a little bit lower (~2-3F) we would have been fucked.

It turned to a steady rain after ~8:00am or so and kept like that till ~2pm or so.

Bent :(

I hope she's not tweaked as badly as joo fear. As much as I want a snail swap for the soon-to-be Frankenbrick, I don't want it at the expense of the black sled.

Then again, I think Tran had the right idea in his last email - big ol' chebby lump in there

The paper said we got a third of a inch officially, but it was gone except for a bit slush on Piglet and Boxy by the time I got up. After that, it was just a nasty, cold rain. The schools were delayed 2 hours, which made for a decent ride in to work. Except for the assbags who think rain = death ice

TI swap = :(

a nice ~830whp chebby swap would be nice.... but a bit cost prohibitive.
98 octane would be nice for the daily commute

fyi... spent ~4 hours, yesterday, at Richard Petty Driving Experience... I might have a weekend jerb. :)

it was a bit over 2" total for us.
it had stopped falling at ~2am and at 4:45/5:00am or so it had started to drizzle.

douche bags on the road here in CLT. :|
I left ~30 mins early and still got behind some clown going 10-15 mph under the limit.

death slush = fire filled crashes!!!!! OHSSSS NOSSSSS.

Howdy, Rob!

Petty experience, eh? They need someone to scare paying customers on the dirt track?

PS - did you get any photos of those guages? We need to discuss an exchange.

seems like a nice jerb... but $9/hr blows goats. I would do that in a second if they would let me do real stuff.... but I don't have the free time to dedicate to them to work up the food chain.
dirt track = nope... pavement only (but 2 road courses!). If I spend any time with them I will suggest that to them. A nice dirt track car would be nicey nice to scare the chit out of some poor sap.

gauges = sitting in my parents in the car. exchange = we shall see. I will check to see when we will be back in Va. and try to get the stuff together in one pile.

$9/hr? Blargh.

No rush on anything. I still need to get the Bullet in a good rolling state, and coordinate transport to 'mattox. Haven't checked with Dan lately, but the GT innards are still up in MD, no?

Drew's willing to help me trailer the car up there, just need to get everything planned out.

$9/hr is that because you are/will be part time?

If they pay more, i'd be very willing to llive in CLT. Would they hire my ass?

$9/hr = does bl0w.

MD = correct... I will check to see, but with the car situation here and the holidays I think things were put on hold.

Plans = good lucks. :)

No worries. Bef and I had a short "discussion" the other night over the 244's future. Apparently, when all this began, she neglected to hear me say that the car would remain at the house post-project, and go back into the driving rotation. She thought it would be kept off-site.

Which begs the question... If I end up with a b00sted RWD rowbox brick, sell the whiteblock?

~$9/hr because of the job. tire changer/dvd sales/flagman/radioman/race suit man/hans man/buckle up man/etc.
~200 full time and ~850 part timers all across the country.

i would not recomend them for a job... even more so b/c of relocation.

we shall see how things turn out. they are flexable... and that is what I need.

Troo. Scout = 1 side, junk = other side  I think if I can get another car in there, she will relent. My argument = that's why I had the parking pad added. The fourth car is all but hidden from the street

Hrm, Pig or Piglet? Pig is older, gets worse mileage, and Bef can't drive it (yet). But it's bigger, faster, stronger, and closer to paid off. Then again, there's a dood on HT who I think would buy it in short order :?
