Isn't it required in the state of CA that an officer must do a sound decibel test to determine whether or not an exhaust system is illegal. I was given the reason when they wrote the fix it ticket "If its louder than usual" and i was like wtf how do you know what it sounded like before. They did nab me for my header though which isn't street legal so theres that but i dont want to have to take off my after market catback if its not necessary. Funniest thing was they asked me about my resevior socks and what they were there for and i said they give me 20+ HP hehe i was having fun what can i say

So the stock set up is going back on this weekend and im going to get it checked out by the state ref so they can sign off on the fix-it ticket as usual. Anyway i sure as sh*t didnt buy my exhaust for nothing so lets say i put it back on in about 4 months. What would happen if i got caught again by the same cops? Would i just get another fix-it ticket or would the penalty be worse?
