Post by Markusirealius01 »

I know absolutly nothing about getting a 5lug conversion. I need some help. This will be on my GS-R which is my track car. First thing is what is a good price for a conversion? and second of all where can i get one?

Have you ever been on track before?
leave the suspension alone, the brakes and tires and just have fun.

Trust me, I spent 2k on suspension and brake upgrades under the dilusion I was preparing myself for the track. At my first event(Expo7) I had a steeper learning curve due to my upgrades. If you want to get seat time then getting on track should be your primary goal. Save the upgrades, just buy track time.

*I am by no means recommending that you neglect parts that need to be replaced due to wear/tear etc.

Just my .02 from my experiences.

Yes I have been on the track. and i know that a lot of suspension upgrades are overrated. I just wanted to know how much it might cost. If i could do it for less than 500 i might consider it but otherwise i could spend my money elswhere.

around 900 is a dandy price for ones that are in used condition(like straight off the boat from japan) that have usable rotors/pads, less if theyre too rusted or pads/rotors need replaced, and mor $ if they have new brakes or upgrades like expensive rotors/pads/calipers and are in great shape
