After some research it seems 4 point harness' are a bad idea for track use. 5 or 6 point harness' are your best bet as far as safety goes.
Is it safe to run a 5 point harness on a JDM ITR Recaro?
Would you still mount the sub belt under the seat and around the front cushion?

from what I have read the seats without the hole are not safe.
if you do decide to use, be sure to read the the rules for the events you go to, they might not allow that type of setup.

Lets use EXPO 8 as an example.
I dont want to pre pay, drive 3 hours to an event and find out that tech doesnt think my setup is safe. Really dont want to drive the 13 hours to EXPO and find this out last minute.

stock seats & belts are fine, no need for more. Additional safety is nice but not needed.
