Wheel sizes need help.

Post by Markusirealius01 »

I recently bent two of my wheels and want to get a set of Work Wheels instead of fixing the old ones. My question is which is better. 16 inch or 17? I am going with 7 inch wide but did not want the wheels to look to big or to small. Please give me your advice and pics are welcome. Thanks

I went with the 17's, however, if I had it to do over I would go with 16's. The 17's just look a little too big, and i'm always worried that I will bend one! I will post the pictures in the next couple of days!

I think 16's are better. I think 17's are a little too large.

I prefer 15s, tires are cheap and plentiful, I would go with 17s if I wasn't such a cheapo

I think if the car has the right ride hight the 15s look pretty damm good. Take a look at this thread I recently made : http://www.itrca.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9432

I agree. The only reason I would ever got with anything bigger than 15s is if I needed the room for brakes.
