I really wanted to try some of that turkey Dave. Over the week, I mentioned your smoking skills to several as we grilled/etc.

Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
Man... that was the hit of the party!!! Juicy and tender, and full of flavor. Didn't need any sauce or anything to spruce it up at all. Man... I'm already planning another smoke session. This time with at least 2 of the turkeys. FWIW, if you ever decide to try, go to Publix (if you have those there) and get just the breast meat on the rib cage. no neck, no wings, no giblets to deal with.coolhandluke wrote:I really wanted to try some of that turkey Dave. Also, if you need ideas or information on smoking... go here.

Has ideas for what wood to use vs. meat, times, brines, rubs... the whole 9 yards. I personally used the Apple & Spice brine and the turkey dry rub.

E'ry body loves some breasts... And even though it was the white meat, still just as tender and moist as most dark meat.Doespike wrote:Awesome mang....yeah brine turkey boobs > *** I never really liked the white meat until I had some brined breast...mmmm

Shawn I wouldn't take advice from this guy. He gets his jollys "fisting" turkeys.

But Gary. Did the turkey return the favor or offer a reach around? We don't know this yet. See.......98 CW ITR 322 wrote:Shawn I wouldn't take advice from this guy. He gets his jollys "fisting" turkeys.

Had no neck or wings... so no reach around.
Let's just say it was a 68 and the turkey owes me one.

Whats up fuggers??? I thought for sure you'd have this bad boy up to 2000 posts by now.
If I didn't have issues with this site and my browser I'd try and get in here more often.

Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
work = is the sux.
Working on the Civic this evening... I need a horn to pass inspection.
After that (and some cruise work) I will do a quick valve adjustment and give the car a once over to see how she is doing...
So far so good... ~33mpgs in the city and ~41mpgs on the highway.
Here is my Civic garage (with gas mileage log):
http://www.gassavers.org/garage/view/1467
~35.3mpgs (combined avg.)
