ECU questions for civic type r

Post by CivicTypeR »

hey. i have a 2000 civic ex with a 96-97 jdm type r swapped. currently i am running a p2t obd2 ecu out of a 99-00 civic si. i have the jdm p73 ecu sitting in my trunk. i was wondering if anyone has ran this civic si ecu also and what kind of results they have had with it.
im sure its in need of a tunning seeing that i am running super rich (shoots flames out the exhaust when it backfires) and i am only getting 15 mpg give or take. my redline is 8200 and the vtec kicks in around 4500 rpms. mainly i am just trying to compare what others (if others have ran this ecu) and what i can expect to get when i switch to the p73 ecu.
one last question also.. i take it all i need to put the p73 in is a jumper harness from obd2b to obd2a?
thanks, seth
