Long Road Traveled

Post by TeleFonica »

I am glad to say I am a proud new owner of a 2000 Flamenco Black Pearl Type R. It was an unbelievable feeling in driving an R thats actually mine(Friend used to have a CW). The reason for the long road post is as follows: I was 16 and ended up purchasing my first car which was a DA with a type r wing. After getting into an accdient I sold the car and moved onto my next Honda, a white 1992 Honda Civic Cx stripped with 2 front seats, a full 8 point roll cage and a 2000 B16 with some tasteful add ons. After getting in trouble with the law i was forced to sell. Then came my next honda a MIlano red 1996 Civic Hatch that was basically a CTR look alike with a H22 in it. The car somehow started to fall apart (crack in a weld on the firewall) and i ended stripping the car to bare metal and sold/ traded everything. I ended up recieving a GSR motor in a trade and sent that to a engine shop to be built with CTR pistons and some other goodies. I ended up selling the motor after i put in a bunch of work to buy a k24a2 project that me and my brother were working on. I actually still have the whole k setup in my basement we are just trying to find the right home for it since my brothers white 1993 Civic CX hatch was hit by some idiot. In the meantime I drove a 1989 CRX HF which I loved but I wanted the perfect car. So here I am with an stock R with 41000 original miles badge 000361. It is my new love that hopefully will not get my girlfriend TOO jealous. Pics to come soon.

That is the plan. By the way I purchased the car from a 61 year old gentleman with a garage with a lift and everything else you could imagine. His other toy is a 99 CW hatch CTR replica with a fully built k series in it and it is the fastest honda I have ever been in. By the way I am 24 so its been 8 years in the making but I made it and dont regret a thing except maybe for the red hatch  .
