The SiR clusters look amazing at night. I'd love one, but I'm not spending money on this car.

I dun care about mileage... just the tach and speedo and other working lights. But yeah... can't be havin no gear selector crapola... no way, no how.EG6-DC2 wrote:The autos do show the gear selector, which looks like crap. If you don't mind converting Km's, an SIR cluster is a nice alternative or if you don't like the white, they had a VTi cluster that has black guages but they are harder to find and usually more expensive. The problem with a lot of EG clusters now is they have high milage and some of them start to act up and eventually take a chit.Dave_B wrote:I do NOT want an Auto cluster... that is if the EG's had it like the Accords and showed the gear...
Just a manual EG cluster with a tach is what I'm looking for. Si, EX or whatever model doesn't matter to me.

You can't "hide" one inna pillar numbnuts. It is the same as a shield on a coaxial cable. It won't work. Now you could put one in the seat bottom and sit on it with it up j00 arse and it would work just fine, your body is not made of metal. And it would be hidden, 'cept for that buttsecks smile.Dave_B wrote:

Me either... remember this is my DD. I don't want it to be a "target"Erik95LS wrote:The SiR clusters look amazing at night. I'd love one, but I'm not spending money on this car.
Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
The ones I was looking at were specifically designed to be in the A-pillar. How else is it "hidden" Now if you want satelitte, then you have to go to the puck style and line of sight. But radio frequencies are just that, radio frequencies.98 CW ITR 322 wrote:You can't "hide" one inna pillar numbnuts. It is the same as a shield on a coaxial cable. It won't work. Just like my radio working in my office, with no line of sight. FM and Am only obviously.

SIR clusters do look really nice and they aren't that expensive.

The type I was talking about. Works well enough and hidden under the glass at the top of the hatch.

Similar in design to what I was looking at. But I couldn't stand it just above the mirror. I want it completely out of sight.Erik95LS wrote:The type I was talking about. Works well enough and hidden under the glass at the top of the hatch.

Dipole. Not exactly hidden, see it from the inside.Erik95LS wrote:The type I was talking about. Works well enough and hidden under the glass at the top of the hatch.

Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
Tinted windows would hide it very well, especially on the hatch

alot more hidden than a 31" pole sticking out of the top of the car.98 CW ITR 322 wrote:Dipole. Not exactly hidden, see it from the inside.Erik95LS wrote:The type I was talking about. Works well enough and hidden under the glass at the top of the hatch.

I dunno... I'm a PITA... I want it HIDDEN... not tucked somewhere.
hidden as in behind the dash, in the A-pillar, door panel, rear panel. Somewhere completely out of sight from inside and outside of the car.

I don't see why it can't be done. If my FM radio works in my office, or an office with no windows, one would then lead to believe it can be hidden in a car somewhere. Again, key here is FM, not XM or Sat.

That's because j00 car is made of steel not concrete noob. Steel will shield RF (Radio Frequencies.) I know. I've measured it. I used to work on an outdoor range with a turntable for 360 degree testing of auto antennas. I could rotate the whole fuggin' car in other words.Dave_B wrote:I don't see why it can't be done. I meant I never see the antenna when I'm inside the car.Erik95LS wrote:you never see your car from the outside?98 CW ITR 322 wrote:Can't see 'em on the roof. BTW since when have you ladies turned into hard-parkers?
