The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.

Anything goes? Well, if you keep it clean and aren't obnoxious.

He's a funny one...
I'm riding my bicycle back from the gas station and it's a slight down hill, so I get some good speed about 25 mph.
Out of the darkness I hear stomping! WTF? and this deer passes right in front of me!!! I miss it by inches and then it hops the small fence and is gone.
If I did not hear the foot steps seconds in advance, I probably would have gone down.
Now as for why I was riding my bike at 2:35am... I forgot to get quarters for the laundry machine :P
Now off to sleep ;)

Oh I thought you wanted one for the health benefits.
In that case yeah, along with an activated charcoal filter and an ionizer. (The ones you can wash in the dishwasher are the best) and both should ideally be downstream of a hepa filter and all will need regular cleaning.

http://www.indoorpurifiers.com/air-purifier-guide.htm
I'm not advocating this brand, shop around first. look at operatiing costs and filter replacement costs as well as CFM of air flow.

Under the house in the crawl space. :|

I noticed the wet patch where the sump pump discharges and figured it was from the heavy rains during Aug/Sep.
but the pump was still running.

Now the wet spot is mud and the leak is still going (~3gal/hr maybe).

Fawk me... but at least the plumber will be able to fix the front spigot while he is under there.

Couple years ago a friend called me one saturday morning and screamed come quick... Pipe burst under his house (crawl space). I was able to shut off the water main, then we went to Home depot and I showed him how to fix pvc :D Simple fix, but yours sounds underground.

high = not really.. ~1000 gallons more per month (aka: $2.00)

drop = we have been trying to conserve with the drought and all last year.
not much good that did us.

DYI = maybe... but I would rather pay someone to get muddy/spidered up... and have them 'certified'.

Ugh, that sucks Will. But I don't blame you for letting a "profeshnul" wrestle with the spiders.

Spiders would really be my largest concern. I'd drop a radio and blast tunes down there for a solid 48hrs before going down there. The last time I was in the crawl space, as I was leaving a black widow walked ~5 inches from my hand.

I am hoping for sub $300... but we shall see.
black widows are infact living under the house... saw a 'few' when I was under there Sunday shutting the crawl space vents and cleaning out the dryer vent pipe.

btw: I pulled ~3 gallons of lint out of the dryer vent pipe (~15 foot of ~4" pipe). I was  at the stuff that was stuck inside of there. :x

That should increase your dryer's efficiency. That's wild, when was the last time you were down there???

I have been delaying that operation. Any tips or tricks? Our dryer has never finished a large load on one cycle. Methinks it moves a lot more air than the previous one did, and cannot breathe well enough.
