just got some new pedals

Post by teddyblank »

for some reasons i guess my slippery ass shoes or the worn down old stock pedals became to slippery. so i ordered some Sparco grip pedals. They look like they just bolt on. But after looking at the stock pedals i cant figure out how to get those pedals off. Do these go on top of the stock pedals or do i remove the stock pedals and theres a place to bolt on these Sparco pedals?

Not sure what those pedals look like but chances are they go over ur stock ones. Every other pedal I seen go right over. Just take the rubber part of and clip those on

i dont think they are clip ons, i think i have to drill holes in my original pedals, is that possible? to drill holes through metal pedals without having it clamped in position? ill post a picture of the Sparco pedals that will be used..

I used to have those pedals for my Civic. Yes, you do have to drill holes. The gas and brake pedal were easy. The clutch - not so easy, and it ended up a little crooked.

One thing I forgot to add about those pedals is that the rubber grommet things that fit in the holes tend to pop out easily. Atleast mine did.

but if i took it to a mechanic he could just replace the pedals right instead of just putting the new ones on the old ones
