I have no firm plans as of yet... wife said leave early to make it a mini-vacation... so I will need to find a hotel and be at Midway (on Sunday evening) to pick up Dan and Nick.

Leave CLT early Sat and arrive ~12 hours later. Take in some night life (and pix) then wake up early Sunday and walk/tour/drive. Downtown sounds great... but I have never visited (only flew over at night!!!:O ) and would like to see as much as I can while I am there.

Any locals available for sightseeing tours/pointers?

I visited Chicago 4-5 years ago. Lubbed it! Went for a Dream Theater concert, toured the city a bit. Have some pixors..

haha, they are so awesome in concert! Queenreich(sp) opened for them. I've been to their concerts in Chitown, DC, and LA

Haven't been in years though...since their new albums
