IMPORTING FROM JAPAN

Post by SOLOITR2001 »

Having a little trouble doing some research. I was wondering if anyone on here can possibly recomend a good car importer that can get cars straight from Japan to the USA California. Not having any good luck and the 2 I have found dont really seem like they are taking this too seriously. But I am ready to do business. I am wanting to buy the last year DC5 Honda Integra Type-R if your wondering.

I have hit up G-SPEED and N1Concepts. And anyone with any type of info on how I would go about getting a car imported please let me know. It would be a big help and save me a lot of hours getting headaches. Thanks

It's a real hassle to import a car in.
I do know it can't come in as a complete car. meaning it has to be kinda striped in japan.
like engine/tranny removed seats missing. other wise as a compete running car your going to have problem with customs.

I checked out their website just the other day. They seem legit. I am going to hit them up and see what they will say. What about ROTOREX? Do you think they can import a car other than a Nissan Skyline?

I've looked into it myself and found that if you import one as either a "Show Only" or "Race Only" car it's easier to get it in the country but, of course, that makes it next to impossible to get a legit registration tho.

Try this site at the very least they have a great list of used ITR's w/ pics and may have imported one into the States before and could answer questions for you.

Good luck
