Hi, this message is being posted for my Mom who is interested (but not attached to the idea of) selling her Integra Type-R. It's a white one, with zero modifications. The car has been in no accidents, and has been hers since it was new, 12 years ago. It has over 100,000 miles on it, and the little thing on the console says it is car #0092.
This is the second time in 3 years she's been thinking of selling it, just because she doesnt get any real usage out of it, and is tired of driving a stick, when she does drive it. I can find out more information for you if you'd like... in fact, I could probably take a picture of it with my cell phone, right now.
As I don't actually frequent the forum, you might be better off emailing me with ishop@machardi.com. She's just looking for what the going price would be.
Thanks,
Phil

I love these 1 owner, stock '97s
How close is the mileage to 100k? 103k, 120k?
How much oil does she burn over say 3k miles?
What state is it in?
Have maintenance records?
Definitely need some more and better pics...but it looks good

Wow, I am going to show my complete car ignorance by not being able to answer half of those questions. I'll look at the odometer tonight, but I have no idea what "oil burning over 3000" means. I think she gets most of her maintenance done at the local honda/integra dealer (the same one she purchased it from) , but i think maybe some of the oil changes have taken place at a jiffy lube, so that's tough to say.
Umm, what else did you ask?
I'll see about taking more pictures too.

I'm an idiot. Quoting is your friend. If by state, you mean condition, it's in good, but not mint. It's still a 12 year old car. If you mean geographically, it's in Florida. I'll see what I can do re: pictures and records over the next couple of days.Doespike wrote:I love these 1 owner, stock '97s

haha It's ok! Trying to help out. ITRs are famous for burning oil as the mileage increase due to the piston rings wearing down. Some will burn a whole quart of oil over the 3,000 mile oil change interval. Some burn a quart in 500 miles. Some are lucky to burn just a trace in the 3,000 miles.
Yes, location I meant geographically. Just to give buyers an idea of where they have to travel, etc. Most buyers look nationally when searching for an ITR..or at least west coast or east coast.
Can't wait to see more pictures

dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Wish I had some cash...
Don't take a penny less then $18,000. That amount should be the lowest anyone should offer.
I'd say good luck selling, but you don't need it.
But either keeping or selling, spend some loot and get it professionally detailed. You'll be in love again.
