Looking into reg. codes and email verifications right now to get by the spam.

I had a month with over 100 new users were all spammers on my site. We tried sooo many dif filters it wasnt funny. We'll get it fixed...u can tell who the spammers are...dont click there topics and we are working it guys. Sorry for having to filter thru the BS to get to the real topics.

The counter is set to like 180 seconds which is a bit annoying. From an outsider's perspective we need a better control system for registering users and banning users- Do we ban their account or their IP?

how is 180 seconds to long??

Annoying is a bot posting every 60 seconds for 15 mins str8...thats annoying

edit: btw...the flood setting is 180 seconds between posting a new topic not replying to topics. Who posts 2 topics in under 180 seconds anyway?
