If it works out it will be worth it. I don't plan to quit tracking, just ease off and do three or so a year. I'l still attend events and hang out (like I did for almost two years). My car is a POS needs work anyway. I'v been really fortunate that I haven't had more trouble at track events. I'm going to work on that this winter what I hope is my new garage.
You're welcome to try mine in HPDE1 if you want... But, for you, it's probably more about the cost of the event than having your car ready.

Still undecided about this event. I originally had all intentions of going and took off from work for it months and months ago but with the cost of fixing the car after expo plus all the coin i've just dropped on camera equipment the smart thing would be to not drive and wait for oktoberfest (i <3 cmp lol).

I've been considering coming down to at least hang out though. Whats the deal with camping though? Cause if there is camping I was thinking of maybe just brining an air mattress and camping out in the fit.

The cost of the event is the big thing at this point. The car, eh, it's a piece. In theory if it is starting normally and my random clutch issues don't come back it will be good to go.

I'm sure there will be room in the garages and probably more people coming to this than the CMP event.

I was expecting a MUCH larger turnout than that.

They are? I wasn't aware, haven't heard anything from anybody and the entrants list on the site is pretty barren.

Well, I got god news and bad news about the t-shirts.

They have been printed and are done. However one of the students who participated in the printing process got offended and told one of thier parents about the project. Low and behold tonight was open house and it was brought up. WTF!!
Quick and easy, the shirts have to be destroyed. Not too happy about this. Shitty part is the prof was totally cool about it and didn't think it was a problem. Aparently the class is a nationally funded program and hes is on the Board. So unless I can get them done in the next 7 days, don't know if its gonna happen. Anybody have any suggesitons????
