I'm sure I could change that. :P

So what's the news on the catch can? You need to do yours so I can then learn from your mistakes and do one of my own.

lol, mine is installed but I would like to add another line. There is no return for the oil but I dont think I'll lose it that quick.

Mine goes valve cover vent>catch can>intake tube

walker111 wrote:Mine goes valve cover vent>catch can>intake tube

IIRC that's the way it's supposed to be. It "catches" the oil so that it doesn't get in the intake.

I want it to go

valve cover vent/pcv>catch can>intake manifold or bottom of engine bay

Just need to do some more research.

I think its "suppose" to go pcv>catch can>IM

Honestly I have never taken the pcv hose off my IM to see if there is oil. I know I've seen it in the intake tube..

So, other than the **** Technical Catch Can Talk ****

What else is new?

As soon as I get home I'll take the tube off to see if there is oil. And I'll switch the line to grab from the PCV. I'm taking the R to work tomorrow.

d00d, you could work the brush fires here. But firefighters don't make much $$$, you do realize that right? There an ITR, rather Ex ITR owner local to me who is now a firefighter. I could give you his contact info if you'd like.
