So I was driving home tonight from work and was really wanted to say this:
Thank you guys for coming out. It was pleasure seeing you guys and hanging out. I also want to give a huge thanks to Jack and Jenny for their food efforts. That was huge. I also want to thank everyone for helping out with my errands while I ran around Saturday prepping and buying a mattress set. Even more so, the friendships really shined through when everyone helped clean up Sunday morning after a mere few hours of sleep. That's an example of how great you guys really are.
I have to give the long distance award to Dave, Brad, and Nikki (spelling?). They left Tampa, FL at midnight Friday night after Dave had worked all week on a project up in ~CT. They all piled into some POS Honda and made the 10+ hour drive and got to Greenville about 10am Saturday. They left Greenville at 10am on Sunday. That's awesome.

Ironic that there's a Dave and Brad that get the long distance award and two others that get the no distance award.

Four bags of beer and wine bottles. Don't worry, none will see a landfill. (One glass bottle takes ~1,000,000 years to decompose.)

Your dedication to recyling has inspired me.. I started a collection bin in my apt. today and I am planning to put a box for ppl on my floor of the apt. complex to put plastic bottles in by the trash chute

An aluminum can takes ~500-700 years to decompose. So, assuming your ash ends up in the trash...lol

spending time with friends > the pain of a 10 hour drive in a POS honda with no cruise control
It's not like we live in Cali or something...

I believe i was still recovering most of the day yesteday. As per usual, it was great getting together with what might be one of the mose unique group of individuals i know. Everyone brings something a little different to the table, which just makes hanging out all the better.
Ryan, thanks for hosting the get together. It was great to have the opportunity to hang out with some of you that i may only get to see once, twice (if lucky) a year.
I look forward to seeing everyone just ASAP.

Well in the event of CA expo maybe we could do it again in the summer. I nominate Ryan since he's a much better host than I'd be.
