Does that mean you installed the OEM unit with no changes, or you haven't yet had a chance to install it?

Have not worked on the car. Not sure if I'll work on it at all until after Expo, actually...

So I discovered over the weekend that if I leave something wedged under the pedal when I'm not driving the car (I've been using a 1/2 drive deep well socket), the pedal doesn't sink and it does not need to be bled before driving.

I also found a small leak in one of the fittings of the custom stainless line that is new since the installation of the second Omni Power master.

Mike, did you use any Teflon tape for the fitting, or just screwed it in place?

No thread tape used. We'll add some when we swap out the fitting for a 45º - it's just a straight fitting right now, and it's rubbing against the firewall a little bit.

If you have some time I would reccomend using teflon tape with all the fittings. Also, bleed the system, get it working, spray everything off with brake cleaner, drive it, check for any leaks, let it sit, then check for leaks again....

Oh, and if Team Lazy doesn't set in after I get my haircut after work, I will be pulling the hydraulic system out of the car as a whole and giving it to clayton to test outside the car.

Yes, Jim does need to be there. He needs to leave on friday/saturday and go home on monday. That way he only misses one day of work, and still gets to hang with us.

Okay, so I removed the entire hydraulic system tonight and took it over to Ausmith's house. We set the system up on his workbench and bled the system - we'll see if it stays air tight overnight...
