That too. I'm not the greatest passenger, but low HP cars don't usually bother me unless they're really jerky in all their inputs. Good drivers are cake to ride with.
I dont' seem to have a problem with it, but everyone I've driven with has either been an instructor, or someone who races. I could imagine with a jerky student things would kinda suck.
so i shouldn't ride with you

That was the first thing my instructor said, I was very smooth. That's what I was going for though, not speed.

Thats good and that is the biggest thing. You'll quickly become an excellent driver if you aren't already. Smoothness breeds speed. Thats what my dad beat into my head from the moment I first started driving and thats what I've always strived for and its shown through on track. You can really see a major difference between the people that start out trying to be smooth and those trying to be fast.

YO dave.

Just wanted to pass along to all you expo peeps that most likely at expo 7 there will be no r comps in any group, except in advanced and instructors groups. its not 100% yet, but thats the general consensus so far.

so far everyone has agreed.

I was hoping as people come in here to whore they'll discuss it a bit.

Keep that info over here and off of H-T. Wes has actually not commented to me yet about it, but I'm betting he is going to say 'whatever you want to do'. Regardless, till its official, i'd rather not have h-t talking about it. :P

We've had some crazies out there at expo 5-6 with R comps in the newer groups scaring instructors and not learning anything. and driving badly. we can't ask students to come in mostly stock cars, but we can ask them to use tires that are gong to help in their development rather than hinder them.

ok, so thats enough of my blabbling.

how joo fools is?

smooth is very important.

my last few students have all said, before I even got a chance to mention it, "wow, you are smooth, looks like you are making all your movements so slowly!". I was happy to have observant students! Knowing that being smooth is key helps right off the bat. too bad for them i'm not fast, but i am smooth :P my last student at WMHM6 was amazing. he was monitoring his own driving and giving me feedback while i sat there and probably said something every 2nd lap. that was super cool and he was improving each lap. would be nice if all students were that receptive :P

so much better than noobs woh want to go as fast as possible and can't pay attention to what they are doing. :(

Actually, I checked ebay, always good for car buyers . There were several Ss that were going cheaply. If you can only check em out before the auctions end. Of course, are you still considering that hail dinged S?

I think I'm going to pass on it. Seeing what prices they are going for elsewhere, this damaged one does not appear to be a good deal, damage or not.
