If I cant, I'm making plans to send it to the shop for the duration of the winter....
What you may have to do is have body shop buff it out. Mine was needing this and all the hand polishing in the world wouldn't take out the oxidation.
Well, I also got a heavy cut cleaner. We'll see how bad I can fuck up the paint

Its not practical in the least, but thats not the point of the car. For what it is, a driver's car, it really is that great. For nothing other than pure all out driving it is phenominal.
I guess thats what kills it for me. Not saying that the R is better, performance wise. But I can drive my car from here to FL, and be comfy doing it. My friend (Dave's size) drove his S from here to FL and hated it! And I had to carry his suit case :P I also drove out to VIR with him, there wasnt even room to have a cd case in the cabin!

Performance wise I think its a good car. IMO, refuse to have a car I cant drive anywhere, in any condition...
Exactly. It just depends on what you want. Like all good driver's cars its not for everyone.
I guess. If I had the cash I'd get one. I'm just not gonna have a car that I have a car note for, sit in the garage for more than half the year...

I'd go with Mothers for at least your wax. Longer lasting protection and a much better shine. IMO
If the shit works I'll use it often. http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-pure-polis ... and-Polish This is the stuff I got..

I probably should have asked before I bought....
That'd be a good. A Mothers 100%Carnuba wax on top of that would look phenominal.

I've never used one. I get sore putting on just one coat of wax much less when i do all that stuff. I really despise it.

I used a power polisher w/rubbing compound early in the summer. Needed the power and force to get out alot of deep scratches and the damage from the box truck.

After rubbing.

Hopefully you don't have marks like that to get out.

I actually use the cleaner wax, but since you're polishing separately I'd go with what you posted.

Doing all that I plan to do? pm the cost, I'll see if I can make it up there...

The only problem with me and paying someone to do it is after I hear the price I get off my lazy ass and do it for the cost of the materials! But eating a pizza and drinking a beer while I watch Rob do it would be better...
