This the mothers stuff?
Yep, I perfer the tin also as opposed to the liquid stuff. Easier to apply and lasts a little better.
So, you like the paste better than the liquid? I usually like the liquid better, then again, its been a longgg time since I've used the paste...

What'd you do?
LOL. Well, actually I had a nail in the LR tire and was low on tire pressure. I stopped at a stop sign to turn right, there was a very little puddle on the ground that got the rear tire wet. Between low PSI in the tire and the little bit of wetness, she came around suprisingly. Not all the way, but enough to go DAMN.

Jim, when I got the S I:

1. Washed
2. Removed old wax in the cracks with an old toothbrush
3. 1st coat of "wax" (I used the meguires 3 step first is the cleaner wax)
4. 2nd coat of "wax" (This is the polishing stage)
5. 3rd coat of "wax" (this seals and gives the shine)
6. Tire cleaner

I still have not touched the interior. :)
