91+ or 92+.. not sure of the change over.

they are kinda scarce at the pull-a-part yards... unless they have been smacked hard.

volvo finally got the ECU working well and got away from the smaller bearing journals so the short blocks would last longer.

that is the front end that has the good block and large brakes.

my wifes is just like that but white with gray interior (different wheels).

I try and only frequent the pull-it-apart yards

you pull it > *

like it = same here.

the one that I picked up had 138,000 miles, 3rd row seat... $1900 cash.
I have put ~$1000 more into it (everything was OE (brakes/timing belt/hoses/seals/plugs/cap/rotor/etc.) and needed to be replaced.

once I get the shocks on and 2 more tyres..... she should last a few more years.

a/c = ice cold and the ride is nice (even with OE 149,000 mile shocks). :O

abs + locker rear end + boost (~8 psi now) nice sled for the highway.

~21.2 mpg city
~25.1 mpg highway

I want to swap a T5 tranny in sometime soon... and would hope the mileage jump would put her close to 27-28 on the highway.

What kind of locker? thats damn good gas mileage for a car that has the wind resistance of a brick.

they came R134a after 91 me thinks.... the line that broke was a long (4') one and I replaced a bunch of seals (and the evaporator thing)... soe ~$220 out of pocket for another 14+ years of service = not too shabby.

the car sat on a lot a few miles from the house while my wife and I were dating.... I watched that bish for a little over a year and a 1/2.

when I went in I had $2k in my pocket.... and argued with him for an hr. or more about the purchase price (started at $3999 1.5 years ago). I told him that I have been watching it for that long and that it was not worth $2999 to me.

I told him oh well.... fugg it I am leaving.

He showed me the carmax dealer purchase reciept that he had when he picked it up. $2400. :P

he lost money and it sat on his lot for ~1.5 years. :P

Eaton G80. Up to ~35mph it locks if there is slippage. :P

mpg's = not bad... but 93 is prefered. :(

19.x gallon tank = 400+mile range.
