Well personally I drive my ITR pretty often. I purchased it on 5/31/10 and currently its 9/7/10 and I have put about 6k on it 
. Mine you about 2500 miles was just the drive back to CA.
If I drive into work and te weather is good for a non-AC car then I will drive the ITR, but the parking I have is pretty secure, you truly do not want to steal a car when there is police and federals around everywhere. I personally never ever easily leave my ITR outside, I hate the fact of being worried as if I left a child home alone. I do my best to have it secured facility or I go out often to check up on it, at least every 30 mins. God forbid the day my ITR gets stolen.
Layered security is currently my focus. Plus I do park in the garage at night, since I have had my previous CRX stolen from front of the house.
