nice

Post by Jan Niemi »

nice car bro, but you need to get that air filter out of the engine compartment, it's sitting right behind the fan, that's costing you power man, also the car is going to be more prone to detonation by heating up the intake charge!! The car actually looks good without the lip. Either way is good.

Any dragstrip numbers yet?

Thanks I'm glad you told me that. I had no idea. How do you have yours placed. No number yet but once I'm tuned, I'll post those and my track numbers as well.

cold air intake

You can kind of see in this pic, I made a cold air intake system, it takes a bend down, then there's a u-bend at the bottom which brings the inlet right into the right inner fender in front of the wheel well, inside is a huge K&N filter, the biggest I could find, it's about a foot long, 3 inch mandrel tubing is what I used for the piping.

JG/Edelbrock or AEBS intake manifold

Post by Beasty18C5 »

is it worthwhile to upgrade to one of these manifolds and what's the better choice or just go with the stock manifold?
