Yes, you are mostly wrong. Cheap autozone rotors or Brembo Blanks are the way to go.

I'm using Cobalt Spec VR's exclusively now, in front, on Autozone Duralast (or whatever) rotors.

I'm going back to GranSport pads.

Last weekend I threw on some new hawk blues I had as backups, since I finally wore out the GranSport GS3's. Not as much bite or braking force in my opinion.

I'm sold on those over the specVRs too. However, I haven't yet tried the new cobalt variation.

what do you reckon the chances are of them shipping me some by next weekend? i've got an airfield day that i'm attending, and numerous Ferraris, Porsches and Lamborghini's will be there (was an Enzo and a Carrera GT last year), and i don't want to let the ITR world down through bad brakes

Carl told me today he has some GS3's in stock. I am going to try the next tougher compound. Unless you are "racing", GS3s felt better to me than the hawk blues or cobalt spec VRs.

I can hardly wait to get the ITR out for the season.......we are still feeling the effects of winter with 5cm of snow this morning....eessshhh!!

I have some quick side question since we're talking about calipers. Do NSX or Legend calipers upgrades qualifies for the Honda Challenge? Btw are any of those are even worthy upgrades for an ITR? Tnx

ITR brakes should be more than enough with lines, fluid, pads, and bigger rotors if need be.

For bigger rotors you would need larger wheels, different clappers and brackets... Not cheap or or easy, well sort of easy
