Still available, but probably not for long.

It's going to get traded in within a couple of weeks.

Ouch. I hope you sell it before you try to trade it in.
Good luck.

Surely you will lose money if you trade.

I realize it is your money...and you have to do what is best for you...but would you consider waiting a bit longer...you will find a buyer.

Can't you just offer the car up for whatever the dealer agrees to give in trade (plus the ammount of tax savings you would get from trading and a bit of profit).

I doubt you will get offered anything over about $12.5K (that is the 105% loan value for a low-mile 98...if you take that plus say the $1K or so you would save in tax (and then add another $1-2K for your profit)...can't you just post that up for a few weeks on the various sites as a firm price?

I realize you wouldn't be gaining much...but some other ITR enthusiast would be gaining for sure...

It is just a difficult time of year to try to sell a car...especially in Chicago (a long distance buyer has to factor the weather and return trip into the price of the car).

What are you so earger to purchase that you don't want to sit on the ITR for a bit longer?

Either way...good luck with your new car-

Cheers!

What kind of details do you want? The car was sold to a gentleman in CA.

If he wants to post details of the transaction, I will leave it up to him.
