Here are two of the photos that I took this past Saturday at the Renaissance Festival.
No need for a batch resize. :P

I only re-sized them (no 'work' on them)... using PSP7_image_resize_then by pixel size.
When I crop... I crop with the original image then resize.

What can I do to them to make them look better?
They are shot with a kit D50 on auto mode.

I guess I need to get a photo book/take a photo class.

I see you found the sharpen tool. :) They do look a bit better. How did you sharpen them? The one with the theater sign in the background looks a bit over sharpened around her hair to me. A definite improvemnt though. Good work and cute kid

PSP7_effects_sharpen_unsharp mask

Is that the right one?
(you can adjust (radius/strength/clipping))

I just left it alone and hit ok. :P

577 if you are counting. :P

I have pulled out/removed some of the crappy ones... and still have ~50 more to go.

It was a fun day... even with the nasty weather.

I usually do a 1pixel unsharp mask at around 30-40%. Works pretty well that way.

Ya know what... I have no clue how to do that. :?

Will, the second set of pics looks much better, I agree a little too much sharpening around the hair.

LOL, wish I could swing a Ridgeline for these hunting purposes  I'd definitely be the first import truck anywhere near where we hunt.

Anyone ever strap a deer to an Integra?

These are going here because I feel the are the best set of pics I have taken yet. Most seem in great focus and I'm happy with the color/sharpness/brightness. I was using the kit lens with the D50, in shutter priority with varying shutter speeds. All pics are as they came out of the camera with no PS work or anything. These all came from the recent trip to the Gaylord Palms hotel here outside of Disney. Pretty nice place actually.

Let me know what you guys think of the pics. Any things I should change about em? Exposure? Suggestions?

I like the sharp mix of nature and man's structure and the steel sky. Philosophers could speak volumes about this pic. Lucky for you all, I ain't no philosopher.
