Not to much new, other than I just found out I'm going to NOPI... the old man has been talking to my Tuner (remember the ECU issue at Expo) and John @ LHT has been talking it up... So... Sept 15-16th I'll be in ATL. :D

As for the DD, no work has started yet. I have given the go ahead to BlueR to send my head package so I'm stoked about that. The weekend after CMP, I'll pull my head off and send it out to be worked. :o Stage 2 Port and Polish, and new 3 angle valve job.

While it's out and at the Machine Shop, I'll pull the old shortblock and prep the new one. During the time nothing is in the engine bay, I'll be cleaning the piss out of it and cleaning up what wiring I can.

Both tuner and machinest say I should easily be over the 200 mark. I guess time will tell.

Yeah, I had Jack connect to make a Vtec engagement/disengagement change (from throttle position dependant to RPM only dependant) and in the process something didn't work right. Now I got word this morning it's the serial connector... :? John at LHT is going to find out for me if he can warrenty it.

As for the build, I can't wait. I'm hoping for some "zing" in this car. I hate that I can't beat on it right now. I do zing it every now and then, but afterwards replace the oil that was just spewed out the back. LOL. I covered a guy on a bike (bicycle) yesterday. I was bored and zinged 1st and 2nd and let out a nasty black cloud that engulfed him. LOL

Ah the engine bay, I can't wait. Oh, and the stupid yellow valve cover has to gO!!!!!

LMAO!! Yeah, that's bad. That thing drinks oil like a deep fryer

So VTEC was cutting out on you if you lifted or something?

Yellow valve cover = target practice 8)

Yep, she drinks it like a sailor... One trip from Orlando to Jacksonville and back consumes about 1.5 qts... Trip averages 80-90 MPH. :o :P Around town it's not bad unless I beat on it a bunch.

Vtec was no engaging if I wasn't 80% + throttle so at places like CMP where there is a carosel, you aren't all the way in it, but need it to drive with the throttle, it wasn't until apex when I was back in it fully that Vtec would engage again. :( Simple fix turns out to be a PITA...

Me thinks I'm going to try that crinkle paint stuff first... If that comes out like chit, then practice it shall be. :D

simple answer to the problem, don't have that poxy fad of VTEC engaging at certain throttle positions

oh, and my valve cover is metallic blue 8)

LOL, but there are other times I "should" be in it but am not. For example, I could be at 6k RPM's (my vtec is set at 4200) but only 50% throttle but no vtec... :(

Pics for proof on the valve cover?
