have you checked the battery and the charging system, there could be a fault causing it to slightly over-charge therfor working the alt harder.
I had a 900watt system for 5 years and the orignal alt is still going...

you should not be having this problem.
The battery has been checked several times. I replaced it as well when I put in the 2nd alternator. What else is there that I could check?
When the battery light comes on, I can measure the voltage at the battery. It is usually at 12v or so. When it is working correctly, it is slightly over 14v, where it should be. The problem is intermittent; the light does not always stay on. Turn the car off and back on and it may not come back on..... It has not come back on since last night.

How does the alt fail? lets start with that.

I don't know.... That is why it is so aggrivating.

Well, I am off to work. 8 days without a day off. At least today is 12 more hours of overtime.

While I'll totally agree with you there, I was wondering if he had seen the new CF retractable top model. I'm quite curious as someone I work with is looking for one for his wife to replace her E46 M3.

Hello all.
School starts tomorrow and I am trying to figure out where the summer went to.
I went to Honda and looked at an 07 si today. It seems pretty nice but they did not have a 2 door, only the 4 door. I am still considering an integra as a daily driver as well (just not another R). I should be going to look at some RSX's on Sunday. I decided to buy a new car so that the R can sit and be worked on when not on the track. (Not only a tranny bearing problem, but now a knocking noise from the back side of the motor).

Help me find an integra.... Here is what I would like to find.
00 or 01
JDM front preferred, USDM OK
LOW miles
Immaculate condition
Not rusted
preferrebly stock, but some aftermarket is ok if tastefully done.
I want something clean and reliable, no problems. I don't really care about what kind of motor or how fast it is. I just want something to drive around town. I do not want some street racer's hand me down though.

Keep an eye out for me guys! If I don't find exactly what I am looking for, I am pretty sure I will just get a new si.

Has anyone has first-hand experience with stereo bluetooth headsets?
I have been think about picking up a set but not sure what is good and despite all the reading nothing beats a testimony from someone I know...
Yes I listen to a bunch of music and watch movies at night.
they seem to be pretty new on the market... so the choices are limited for now. and the prices are affordable.

thoughts?

WTDR Exblo is a no go for me, a family matter came up and required my saved money.
this just happened Sunday and I am unable to express my disappointment in both the family member and not being able to go. But family first? right??

but the headphones are from 50 to 100 so that will not break my pockets, just helping to keep my sanity by not hearing what they have to say :?

That's still 50-100 in tranny work so you can bring YOUR car to Expo next year. ;)
