Those pics are great, Dave!
Wow. I love the alligator one! The first one, with the rocks and the purple flowers is probably my favorite though.

Spent the afternoon washing the car, and Simple Greening the wheels. They really look great now, probably the best they've looked since I bought the car a little over 2 years ago! I haven't cleaned the wheels at all in about a year. Simple Green FTW!
Integra Pride!

Jim, what settings on the D50 did you use for that last pic? I've been trying to figure out a way to take pics (or set it up for someone) at track so that the pictures actually show speed. I know shutter speed has to do with it, but when I set it lower it blurs the pic or just doesnt look right.

1/80 sec f4.5 Not sure on the ISO.
A shot like that is easy since the camera is traveling at the same speed as the car. At a track the camera is stationary and the car is moving so you have to pan. Just takes practice.

Thanks Eric, now if I can just figure out how to adjust the shutter and aperature in the same pic. I've been shooting in S lately and it auto corrects the aperature IIRC.

Let me get in on some of this wheel action.
This is my favorite spinning wheel shot that a friend did for me. There is so much action in this shot.
A few shots I took the other day. First one is mine. Second one is a 07 CRV wheel that had benn chrome dipped.

Here a fun one. Took this outside in the sunlight at high noon.
I have no idea where all the blue came from but it makes for a cool shot.
